At present, China and Kazakhstan and other five Central Asian countries continue to deepen practical economic and trade cooperation, and trade development is rising in quantity and quality. According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on May 17th, in the first four months of this year, the import and export volume between China and five Central Asian countries reached 173.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 37.3%. In April, the import and export volume exceeded 50 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 50.27 billion yuan, reaching a new level.
In terms of imports, in the first four months, China imported 32.45 billion yuan of energy products such as coal, crude oil and natural gas from the five Central Asian countries, accounting for 55% of the total value of China's imports from the five Central Asian countries in the same period; The import of metal ore was 10.59 billion yuan, up 13.7 percent year on year. In addition, the rich quality agricultural resources of Central Asian countries have provided more opportunities for deepening and solid bilateral agricultural cooperation. In the same period, China imported 2.58 billion yuan of agricultural products from the five Central Asian countries, up by 42.9%.
As for export, our country exports mechanical and electrical products, labor intensive products "neck and neck drive" to the five countries of Central Asia. In the first four months, the export of mechanical and electrical products reached 51.58 billion yuan, up 68.3% year on year, accounting for 45.2% of the total export value between China and the five Central Asian countries in the same period. The export of labor-intensive products such as textiles, clothing, shoes and boots reached 47.4 billion yuan, up 75.2 percent, accounting for 41.6 percent.
In terms of business entities, the import and export of Chinese private enterprises to the five Central Asian countries reached 110.88 billion yuan in the first four months, up 64.6% year on year, accounting for 64.1% of the total value of imports and exports between China and the five Central Asian countries, up 10.6 percentage points, further strengthening the vitality of trade.
In order to promote the smooth trade between China and the five Central Asian countries, the customs authorities are actively promoting the normal operation of passenger and cargo transport at highway ports between China and neighboring countries in Central Asia, and further promoting the mutual recognition cooperation of "single window" and "authorized economic operator(AEO)" in international trade. In addition, in order to promote the development of trade in agricultural and food products, the Customs also actively promotes the export of high-quality agricultural and food products from Central Asian countries such as grain, fruit, oil, dairy products and livestock products to China, and continues to expand the "green channel" for rapid customs clearance of agricultural and sideline products. It is reported that Central Asian countries have more than 100 kinds of agricultural and food products that can be exported to China, and more than 4,000 registered enterprises have been approved. The Customs has opened eight "green channels" for rapid customs clearance of agricultural and sideline products to Central Asian countries, covering all highway ports.
